Job description
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be employed nationally supporting the Project Managers on their programmes or projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Assisting with the whole life project delivery process for our client sponsors.
-Developing skills in project, commercial, contract and risk management.
-Working collaboratively with our suppliers, client representatives, technical specialists, and other partners to deliver successful outcomes.
-Data management
-Researching background on flood risk areas
-Setting up new projects, using systems and processes to help manage projects
-Using project management tools to aid development and maintenance of business cases, programmes, trackers and risk registers.
-Assist with administering contracts with supply chain in accordance with framework policy.
-Attend site visits and public exhibition meetings
-Learn how to apply EA legislation, policy and guidance.

Numeracy and report writing skills, Analytical skills to solve problems, take responsibility and make decisions and data Management.
Must be able to demonstrate experience of working in a project environment, preferably within an engineering or construction environment.
Background of working in a customer-facing environment, demonstrating excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with contentious situations involving landowners and communities.
Able to work under pressure, prioritising workload and meeting deadlines.
Confident in communicating with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external

Base location can be flexible but with an expectation of co-locating in Hub or delivery partner offices occasionally.
