We require a highly organised and proactive individual within the Benefits Outcome & Performance Team to lead on ensuring programme management IT Systems are joined up by design and follow portfolio standards, all in connection with the Environment Agency's Flood & Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) Investment Programme. This a critical role to ensure we make the right strategic choices and take the right practical actions so we can demonstrate to Defra and NISTA that we have grip on delivery.
The successful candidate will work closely with Programme Teams and IT Project Teams. You will bring together requirements from teams across the Environment Agency and other Risk management Authorities to ensure improvements are appropriately prioritised, aligned with data standards, and benefits realised from those improvements. You will work across teams and senior stakeholders where excellent analytical, influencing and presentation skills will be required.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be capable of planning and co-ordinating action. They will be an excellent pro-active problem solver, providing realistic ideas and solutions to complex problems within challenging timescales. They will also be able to influence senior people across different teams and disciplines to support delivery of the FCRM Investment programme. Knowledge of existing FCRM programme systems and data management principles are desirable to undertake this role.
